As our Corporate team continues to grow, we have an exciting prospect for an experienced Recruiter to lead our Wollongong office and team, while managing a Finance recruitment desk across the Illawarra.

Your new role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll lead by example, maintaining your high performing desk while helping grow our business within the Illawarra region.
You’ll play a key role in growing the team and revenue, bringing in new talent and supporting your consultants to develop and succeed.
This is an established, high-potential desk with the capacity to bill in excess of $500k, supported by a strong client base spanning major local organisations and successful medium-sized businesses.
You’ll join a small, close-knit team that combines a supportive culture with the ambition and capability to deliver exceptional results. We’re particularly keen to hear from people already based in Wollongong or the South Coast, as well as experienced recruiters considering a move for a new lifestyle and the opportunity to build their career in the region.
You will have the full autonomy for managing the recruitment process which will involve;

- Building a diverse client network through business development and industry networking events
- Creating and managing sourcing strategies within your specialised sector
- Working with your counterparts and with other teams in your office and across your sector

We’re open to different levels of experience, the right person will be confident operating in a 360-recruitment role, have experience leading, mentoring or developing others, and be motivated by the opportunity to grow both a desk and a team.

What you need to succeed:

- Experienced in 360 recruitment, with a strong understanding of business development and candidate management
- A natural leader, with experience mentoring, coaching or supporting others to succeed
- Committed and confident in building long-term partnerships with clients through business development
- Driven by results, with proven experience working towards targets, KPIs and sales budgets
- Ambitious, commercially minded and motivated to grow a team and business
- Collaborative and enjoy working within a close-knit, high-performing environment
- Bold and curious, always looking for better solutions for clients, candidates and colleagues
