Forklift Operator - Kingsgrove (Full-Time Permanent)

An opportunity currently exists for a Forklift Operator based at our Kingsgrove site on a full time permanent basis. This role is responsible for supporting packing operations to maximise line efficiency. Growth opportunities exist for the right applicant to progress into a Packing Operator role.

Key Accountabilities

- Supply ingredients and packaging materials to the packing line as required.
- Use RF scanners to manage stock movements in and out of the production line.
- Generate and apply labels to finished product pallets.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and vans.
- Manage ingredients and packaging using FIFO principles.
- Identify and isolate any out-of-specification raw materials.
- Maintain hygiene and GMP standards within the area of responsibility.




- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with GMP and HACCP requirements.
- Perform forklift start-up inspections and maintain equipment regularly.
- Identify operational issues and help minimise equipment breakdowns.
- Follow company safe work procedures and comply with all safety requirements.
- Assist with packing line operations as required.
- Support daily cleaning activities in the warehouse and packing areas.
- Manually restack pallets when required.

About You

- Current Forklift Licence.
- High Reach forklift experience.
- Experience using RF scanners for warehouse stock movements.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
- Experience in food manufacturing (desirable).
- Experience with D365 or SAP systems (desirable).
