Do you know the windows and doors industry and have the sales skills to turn opportunities into successful projects?

Midcoast Windows is looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a background in selling glass and aluminium windows and doors to join our team in a Sydney-based role.

This is an opportunity for someone who understands the industry, can build strong customer relationships and enjoys identifying opportunities, developing projects and winning business.

We’re looking for more than a salesperson. We want someone who understands what it takes to move a window and door project from an initial enquiry through to a successful outcome.

About the role

As our Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for developing sales opportunities, securing projects and managing jobs throughout the sales process. You’ll work closely with our estimating team to help ensure projects are accurately assessed, quoted and progressed.

Your industry knowledge, commercial judgement and ability to build customer confidence will be important to your success.

What you’ll be doing

- Developing sales opportunities and securing new projects in the windows and doors industry.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and industry contacts.

- Managing projects from initial enquiry through to the relevant stages of the sales process.

- Preparing and reviewing project take-offs and understanding project requirements.

- Liaising with the estimating team to coordinate pricing, quotations and project details.

- Identifying and resolving issues to keep projects progressing.

- Communicating with customers and internal teams to help deliver a professional,



reliable service.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience selling glass and aluminium windows and doors is highly desirable and will be a major advantage.

We’re particularly interested in candidates who bring:

- Experience in sales within the window and door manufacturing or supply industry.

- A sound understanding of glass and aluminium window and door products and applications.

- The ability to identify opportunities, develop customer relationships and secure business.

- An understanding of project requirements, take-offs, quotations and estimating processes.

- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

- The ability to manage multiple projects, organise priorities and follow through on commitments.

- A skilled, self-motivated approach and a genuine interest in achieving results.

Experience working with builders, developers or other construction-industry customers would also be valuable.
