Retail Salesperson – Alexandria | Power Tools & Trade

Sydney Tools is looking for motivated Retail Salespeople to join our Alexandria team!

Whether you've worked in retail, construction, automotive, electrical, plumbing or another trade, your experience could be exactly what we're looking for.

No previous tool sales experience? No problem! We provide hands-on training to help you develop your product knowledge and succeed in the role.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You'll be helping customers find the right tools and equipment for their projects while developing your skills in retail sales.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting trade and retail customers with product recommendations and advice.
- Building customer relationships and delivering great service.




- Driving sales and working towards store targets.
- Processing sales and handling customer enquiries.
- Maintaining stock presentation, displays and merchandising.
- Learning about new products through regular supplier training.

Roster: Full-time position, including one rostered weekend day each week.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for people with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

You'll be a excellent fit if you have:

- Experience in retail sales, customer service or a trade-related industry.
- An interest in power tools, construction, automotive or trade equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Motivation to achieve results and work as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn.

Coming from a trade background? Your hands-on knowledge could give you a real advantage when helping our customers.
Already working in retail sales? Bring your sales skills and we'll help you develop your product knowledge.
