We’re partnering with an established and growing supplier of healthcare and assistive technology equipment, recognised for delivering quality products and solutions across the community, aged care and hospital sectors.

With a strong reputation in the market and continued investment in their Victorian operations, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Product Specialist to manage and grow its community and aged care presence across Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

This opportunity will suit someone with experience in assistive technology, mobility equipment, rehabilitation products or community healthcare sales who enjoys building relationships with clinicians and helping clients achieve better outcomes.

The Opportunity

Working across an established product portfolio, you'll be responsible for developing relationships with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, aged care providers and other healthcare professionals throughout your territory.

The position offers a combination of account management and new business development, with a solid emphasis on getting out in front of customers, conducting equipment demonstrations and developing long-term referral relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage and develop relationships with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and other allied health professionals.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across community healthcare and aged care.

- Conduct product demonstrations, equipment trials and training sessions with clinicians and end users.

- Work closely with healthcare professionals to recommend suitable equipment solutions based on individual client requirements.

- Build relationships with aged care facilities, community care organisations and relevant referral networks.

- Manage your territory independently, planning regular customer visits and identifying opportunities for growth.





- Maintain a strong understanding of the product portfolio and provide ongoing support to customers.

About You

Ideally, you'll have previous experience selling assistive technology, mobility equipment, rehabilitation products or other healthcare equipment into the community or aged care sectors.

We're particularly interested in speaking with candidates who already have relationships with Occupational Therapists and other allied health professionals across Melbourne.

To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

- Previous experience in assistive technology, mobility equipment or healthcare sales.

- An understanding of the community healthcare and aged care markets.

- Existing relationships with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists or other healthcare professionals.

- Confidence conducting product demonstrations, equipment trials and customer training.

- Solid relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to business development.

- The ability to manage a territory independently and identify new commercial opportunities.

Alternatively, Occupational Therapists or other allied health professionals with relevant equipment knowledge who are interested in transitioning into a commercially focused position are encouraged to apply.
