The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Lawyer to join our Retail & Commercial Leasing team in Sydney CBD, working closely with Partner Anthony Herro, one of Sydney’s leading retail leasing lawyers, and an experienced team with a strong reputation in the market.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating retail and commercial leasing documents

- Managing leasing matters and transactions

- Providing practical and commercially focused advice to clients

- Assisting with lease-related negotiations and matters

- Working closely with clients and other members of the team

- Supporting and mentoring junior team members

Successful candidates will have:

- 2+ years post-admission experience in retail and/or commercial leasing

- Strong experience drafting,



reviewing and negotiating leases and associated leasing documentation

- The confidence to manage leasing matters with increasing autonomy while knowing when to seek input on more complex issues

- Solid drafting and negotiation skills, with excellent attention to detail

- A commercial and practical approach to legal advice, with an ability to understand a client's broader business objectives

- Strong communication and client relationship skills

- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in developing specialist expertise in retail and commercial leasing
