HomeRepair is seeking an experienced building professional to join our growing WA team, servicing the Southern Perth region.

Whether you're an experienced Home Assessor, Building Assessor, Estimator, Site Supervisor, Building Inspector, Builder or Carpenter, this opportunity will allow you to apply your building knowledge in a customer-focused role while helping customers recover after an insurance claim.

Previous insurance assessment experience is highly regarded, however we also welcome applications from experienced residential building professionals with strong estimating, supervision or inspection experience.

About the Role
As a Home Assessor, you'll inspect damaged properties, prepare repair scopes and estimates, and work closely with customers, trades and internal stakeholders to achieve quality repair outcomes.

This is a mobile, field-based role involving property inspections across the Mandurah and surrounding region, with the balance of your time spent working from home completing reports, scopes and estimates.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

- Trade qualification within the building industry
- Significant residential building experience
- Experience in estimating, site supervision, building inspections, property assessment or insurance repairs
- Strong knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards and WHS requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Current unrestricted driver's licence

Highly Regarded:





- Home Assessor or Building Assessor experience
- Insurance repairs experience
- Insurance claims assessment experience
- Escape of Liquid (EOL) claims experience
- Experience preparing repair scopes and cost estimates
