Our client is a well-established, multi-site business with a substantial heavy-vehicle transport operation. The business operates a diverse fleet and takes a practical, hands-on approach to delivering efficient transport outcomes.

They are seeking an experienced Transport Allocator to join their Badgerys Creek operation in Western Sydney.

You will manage the day-to-day allocation and scheduling of a divisional fleet of up to 50 trucks, supporting contract, local-delivery and site operations. This is a hands-on operational role within a broader heavy-vehicle transport business.

The opportunity

This role suits an experienced allocator who understands heavy-vehicle operations and can confidently coordinate a varied fleet of truck-and-trailer combinations. You will play an important part in keeping fleet movements safe, efficient and aligned with operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

- Allocate and schedule a fleet of up to 50 heavy vehicles and vehicle combinations.
- Coordinate transport requirements for contract, local-delivery and site operations.




- Manage day-to-day fleet allocation for the relevant division.
- Support recruitment, training and scheduling activities within the transport function.
- Help ensure operational checks are completed, including RMS and background checks and pre-employment medicals for relevant personnel.
- Work with heavy-vehicle combinations, payload requirements and fleet-operating needs.

About you

- Proven experience in heavy-vehicle fleet operations.
- Practical knowledge of truck-and-trailer combinations, maximum payloads and heavy-vehicle operating environments.
- Experience coordinating a diverse heavy-vehicle fleet in a fast-moving operational setting.
- Strong scheduling and organisational capability.
- A practical approach to supporting efficient fleet utilisation and service delivery.
