About the Role

We're seeking reliable, motivated Machine Operators to join our production and sanitation teams. Seasonal afternoon and night shifts are available during our busy mango season, from November to the end of January.

Working within our food manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment while ensuring our products consistently meet the highest food safety and quality standards.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality products safely and efficiently.

Positions involve standing, lifting and bending, attention to details, and following the directions from your team and line leader.

Sanitation – night shifts

Ideal for night owls. Duties include handling chemicals and cleaning all production lines so they're ready for the next shift.

Extraction/pack-out – afternoon and night shifts





*A forklift licence is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate food production machinery

Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as required

Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process

Maintain Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards

Perform cleaning and sanitation activities in accordance with company procedures

Identify and report equipment issues or maintenance requirements

Work collaboratively with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Follow all Workplace Health & Safety requirements and safe operating procedures

About You

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

Previous experience operating machinery within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment

A strong commitment to food safety, quality and workplace safety

Excellent attention to detail

Good communication and teamwork skills

The ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong work ethic with a reliable and positive attitude

Physical fitness suitable for manual production work

Willingness to work across day, afternoon or night shifts as required

Experience working within HACCP or GMP environments

Experience operating automated production equipment
