Purpose

The role is responsible for the timely completion of project pricing for the tender process on approved domestic and commercial construction repairs. The Estimator is responsible for preparing project pricing and budgets to deliver successful tender outcomes. The estimator must be well versed in the building process and current market rates.

Main duties and responsibilities

- Compile and deliver detailed scope of works.
- Compile and deliver accurate pricing and budget breakdowns.
- Deliver to the business successful tender results.
- Price, plan, schedule multiple small to medium domestic and commercial construction project tenders for successful outcomes.
- Ensure tenders and budgets are well constructed and deliverable.
- Ensure tender win rates and other KPIs are met as required
- Have a detailed understanding and experience in the construction process,



critical inspection points, permit requirements and WHS requirements
- Ensure all relevant licencing requirements, permits, forms, certificates, certification, approvals, design details, safety standards and best practices are included and priced within tenders
- Provide accurate progress updates for internal and external use.

About you

- 2+ years' experience Estimating in the insurance building industry.
- Tertiary qualification in Building, Quantity Surveying, or another relevant discipline (desirable).
- Current valid driving licence.
