We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer with a strong design eye and the skills to turn thoughtful ideas into polished work. Someone who cares about typography, understands how to build a clear layout and knows how to give a brief a fresh perspective.

Working in our Brisbane studio, you’ll design across brand, campaigns, publications and digital for clients in major infrastructure, government and the corporate sector. You’ll also take a key role in Phillips Group’s own marketing and brand, helping shape how we present ourselves. This is an in-office-based role.

The work calls for both creativity and clear thinking. You might be finding a visual direction for a campaign, making complex information easier to understand or bringing consistency to a substantial publication. You’ll consider who the work is for, what it needs to communicate and how to make it effective.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team of communication professionals, with ownership of your projects and support from people who bring different perspectives to the brief.

What you’ll bring

- A solid portfolio showing creative thinking and polished execution
- A confident command of typography, layout and visual hierarchy
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
- Sound creative judgement, with the ability to interpret a brief and develop work that meets its objectives
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and review rounds while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
- A solid understanding of print and digital production, including artwork preparation and file management
- The ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with project teams and respond thoughtfully to feedback
- An understanding of accessible design principles
- Videography and Microsoft PowerPoint skills are highly desirable.
