Rural Health West is a commercially focused, not-for-profit organisation committed to ensuring people living in Western Australia’s rural and remote communities have ready access to high quality primary health care services. With annual revenues circa $25 million, Rural Health West employs approx. 60 staff at its Nedlands headquarters.

About this Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this newly enhanced executive team role will lead Rural Health West's finance, business development, governance, risk, information technology and corporate services functions.

As Chief Business Officer (CBO), you will therefore be responsible for driving financial performance, strengthening governance and risk management practices, whilst also overseeing technology and digital transformation.

An additional key focus of the CBO role will be on leading new business development through the delivery of high quality market analysis, business cases, tenders, commercial modelling, partnerships and contract negotiations.

About You

You are an experienced executive leader with strong commercial,



financial and strategic capability. You will also have a track record of leading high-performing teams, improving organisational performance and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

You will bring:

Senior leadership experience across finance, corporate services, IT and business management.

Solid financial management, governance and risk oversight capability.

Business acuity with success in driving business growth, developing partnerships and leading commercial initiatives.

Experience working with Boards and executive leadership teams.

Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.

An ability to lead organisational improvement, digital transformation and change initiatives.

CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualifications are required.
