Our ENT Practice is looking for a flexible, adaptable, responsible, and reliable person with at least 1-2 years of work experience in a Medical practice. We are seeking a reliable and friendly Medical Receptionist to cover maternity leave in our busy ENT practice, with the opportunity to continue on a part-time basis. This role offers flexibility and requires travel between our Kingswood, Norwest and Hornsby locations.

Key responsibilities

- Organise appointments and maintain records
- Patient reception, appointment scheduling, and general administrative duties
- Creating and maintaining patient records
- Cleaning and sterilising of instruments
- Medicare and private billing/receipting and payment collection
- Answering telephone and patient enquiries
- Undertake other tasks assigned by the Practice Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the practice

About you





- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced medical practice
- ENT experience is desirable but not essential
- Confident working independently while contributing positively to a team
- Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills
- Skilled, compassionate, and patient-focused
- Computer literate - proficiency in Word, Outlook and C2C (or similar) is an advantage
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise and organise
- Have a strong multi-tasking capability
- Flexibility is essential to cover holidays and sick leave
- Flexible to travel to locations
