Financial Analyst (Big 4 or Mid Tier 1st Movers)

The Role:
Reporting to a Finance Manager, this is an excellent first move into industry for a CA or CPA qualified accountant coming from Big 4 or a strong Mid Tier firm.

The role sits nicely between technical accounting and commercial finance. You will use the foundations built through audit including financial reporting, controls, analytical review and investigating variances, while developing broader exposure to management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly management reporting and financial analysis
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support annual budgets,



forecasts and ongoing financial planning
- Analyse financial performance, trends, risks and opportunities
- Maintain strong financial controls and reporting accuracy
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting
- Partner with non finance stakeholders on financial performance

About You

- CA or CPA qualified
- Big 4 or strong Mid Tier Audit background highly regarded
- Strong financial accounting, audit and financial reporting foundation
- Experience reviewing P&L;, balance sheet, reconciliations and controls
- Robust analytical skills with confidence investigating variances
- Keen to build a career in management accounting and commercial finance
