Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) or Diploma Educator – Part-Time or Full-Time

The Learning Cottage is a privately owned, warm and welcoming 68-place early childhood education and care service located in Wollongbar, Northern NSW.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) or Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our established team.

We can offer permanent part-time or full-time employment, depending on the successful applicant's availability. For part-time applicants, we are looking for someone who can work a minimum of 3 days per week.

About the position

You will work collaboratively with our experienced educators and leadership team to provide high-quality early childhood education and care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Planning, implementing and evaluating high-quality, play-based educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Supporting children's individual learning, development and wellbeing
- Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Creating protected, engaging and inclusive learning environments
- Contributing to curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice




- Working collaboratively with our educators and pedagogical leadership team
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to child safety, child protection and children's wellbeing
- Contributing to the ongoing quality improvement of the service

About you

We are looking for someone who:

- Holds an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification OR Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care/equivalent approved qualification
- Is seeking full-time employment or a minimum of 3 days per week
- Holds a current Working with Children Check
- Is passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and care
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Is positive, reliable and qualified
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
- Is committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, respected and heard

First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications are required.
