Peritus Recruitment is working with a global biotechnology leader to hire a Data Entry Clerk - General Facility and Office Support for its Broadmeadows manufacturing site. It’s a good fit for someone early in their career who wants a start in procurement, supply chain or engineering operations at a large, well-regarded organisation.

Start: 10/11/2026

Location: Broadmeadows

Rate: $40.5/hr + Super

Working hours: 36.75hrs per week

The Role

You’ll give hands‑on administrative support to the Engineering teams across the purchasing process. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing purchase requisitions and converting them into purchase orders for subcontractor and service work
- Managing open purchase orders, including fixing errors or blocks
- Checking pricing with vendors and internal stakeholders, and sorting out any pricing differences
- Following up with suppliers to confirm service orders are delivered
- Tracking actions on vendor non-conformances




- Logging support tickets for purchase orders with system, data or transaction problems, and following them through to closure
- Matching invoices against purchase orders and supporting accurate invoice coding
- Keeping procurement records, trackers and documentation accurate for audit and compliance
- Producing routine reports for the Engineering and Procurement teams

You’ll build up your SAP skills along the way, with training and support from an experienced team.

About You

Experience in administration, customer service, retail, logistics, data entry or office support will help you settle in quickly. You’ll need basic skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. You don’t need SAP experience, just a willingness to learn it.

Above all, you’re accurate and organised, you communicate professionally, and you’re keen to learn and follow set procedures in a regulated setting.
