Position Information

William Bayldon Public School is a vibrant and inclusive K-6 school located on the Coffs Coast, with an enrolment of 146 students with 55% of the students being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, where every child is known, valued and supported to thrive. We are a diverse and welcoming school community with a strong focus on student wellbeing, belonging, high-quality teaching and learning and performing arts. Our school is committed to ensuring that every student can access meaningful learning opportunities and experience success, with staff working collaboratively to understand and respond to individual student needs.

Our Inclusive Education Hub is an important part of our school community and provides specialised support for students with complex learning, communication, behavioural and sensory needs. The Hub operates as part of our broader whole-school approach to inclusion, wellbeing and curriculum delivery. We have strong collaboration between teachers, support staff, families, allied health professionals and our wider school community. We value relationships, teamwork and a strengths-based approach, while maintaining high expectations for every student and staff member.

An understanding of effective differentiation, explicit teaching, communication supports and positive behaviour approaches would be highly valued.
