One of Australia's largest construction and engineering groups is looking for a Learning and Development Advisor to join its national team on a 6-month contract, with real potential to extend.

You will report to a Learning and Development Manager who trusts you to own your work and run with it. Regular check-ins keep you aligned, and when a project needs extra support, your manager is ready to step in alongside you.The group is in a period of growth, offering meaningful work and room for the role to grow.

What you will do

- Support learning and competency systems across the group, often working in more than one system at a time
- Help run group-wide programs, including inductions, code of conduct and workplace behaviour training
- Manage apprenticeship and traineeship enrolments with RTOs, GTOs and training providers
- Support the graduate program, school engagement, leadership and mentoring initiatives
- Partner with the Diversity and Inclusion team on programs such as women in construction

What you will bring

- Experience in construction or a similar industry with both office and field workforces
- Around five years in HR/learning and development environment
- Confidence picking up recent systems quickly
- The drive to take a piece of work and run with it, while keeping your manager in the loop

A degree is welcome but not essential. How you work matters more.

What's on offer

- $55 to $75 per hour plus superannuation, depending on experience
- Hybrid work: Brisbane CBD office Tuesday to Thursday, home Monday and Friday
- A small, collaborative team with national reach
- Start before Christmas, with strong potential to extend
