We're looking for an Account Manager who knows how stands are actually made. You might be a cabinet maker, a stand builder or someone with years in custom stand manufacture. Either way, you know what's buildable, what it'll cost and how long it'll take, and you're ready to use that knowledge on the client side. Harry the Hirer is one of Australia's leading event and exhibition hire companies. We deliver stands, furniture, graphics and full custom builds for some of the country's biggest trade shows, conferences and expos.

We're looking for an Account Manager who knows how stands are actually made. You might be a cabinet maker, a stand builder or someone with years in custom stand manufacture. Either way, you know what's buildable, what it'll cost and how long it'll take, and you're ready to use that knowledge on the client side. You'll manage custom stand and upgrade projects from first brief through to show day.

What you'll do

- Meet with exhibitors and agencies to understand their brief, then turn it into a practical, buildable stand solution
- Scope, cost and quote custom stands and upgrades accurately, covering materials, labour, finishes, freight and install
- Read and review drawings and renders,



and flag build issues before they reach the workshop
- Act as the link between the client, our designers and the production team, so every build is delivered on time and on budget
- Upsell upgrades to shell-scheme exhibitors, such as joinery, counters, storage, graphics, furniture and lighting
- Manage a portfolio of accounts across multiple shows and build repeat business
- Be on site at bump-in and during events to support clients and solve problems on the spot

What you'll bring

- A trade background in cabinet making, joinery or exhibition stand building, or extensive experience in custom stand manufacture
- A strong understanding of materials, construction methods, finishes and workshop processes
- The ability to read technical drawings and judge how long a job will take and what it will cost
- Good communication skills and confidence talking with clients. Sales experience is a bonus but not essential, as we'll support you
- Strong organisation skills, so you can juggle multiple projects and tight show deadlines
- Basic computer skills (email, Excel, quoting software or a CRM), with a willingness to learn our systems
- A current driver's licence, and flexibility for event days and bump-ins
