We are looking for a warm, kind, patient, and reliable independent support worker to assist a 91 year old lady to live comfortably and independently in her own home in the Thomastown, VIC area. This position is funded through her My Aged Care Support at Home package. Invoices will be processed and paid directly through our Approved Care Provider.

Key responsibilities

- Provide companionship through chatting, listening to music, or going for short walks in the backyard
- Assist with dressing
- Administer medication
- Prompt with eating
- Assist with showering
- Assist with toileting

About you

- Empathetic, patient, and respectful attitude
- Reliable and punctual with positive communication skills
- National Police Check required
- First Aid & Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) required
- ABN required
- Public Liability Insurance required
- Prior experience in aged care, disability support, or family caregiving is a plus
