02nd November, 2026 Daniel Yelkovan from ri-kroot is recruiting an Electrical Building Services Engineer for an established electrical contractor in Murarrie, Brisbane. Full-time permanent. This suits a consultancy-trained building services engineer who wants to be closer to the build. You'll own electrical design on D&C; base builds, work with estimating, project and site teams, and see your designs go up on site. Pipeline covers warehouses, shopping centres and data centres across Southeast Queensland. The role LV/ELV building services design from concept through to IFC Load, cable sizing, voltage drop and fault level calculations SLDs, switchboard schematics, power and lighting layouts Lighting design (DIALux or AGi32) ELV coordination: fire, security, access, communications, BMS Revit MEP / AutoCAD docs, clash checking and services coordination Tender support (scope, BoQs, value engineering) and site support (shop drawings, RFIs)



What you'll need Electrical Engineering degree Building services electrical design experience (consultancy background ideal) D&C; or base-build exposure preferred Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, 3008, AS 1680, AS/NZS 61439 and the NCC Confident with Revit MEP and AutoCAD (Navisworks, DIALux, PowerCAD a plus) Full Australian working rights Nice to have RPEQ (or working towards it) Pre-construction / estimating / tender support What's on offer Permanent full time with a stable contractor Varied D&C; commercial, retail and data centre work Real design ownership with a direct line to the build How to apply Click Apply and attach your resume or contact Daniel Yelkovan at ri-kroot on 0419 576 507 or [email protected] for a confidential chat.
