We're on the lookout for a passionate Mentor to help us make a lasting impact.Our Parent Pathways contract assists parents with young children to identify their goals and facilitate activities that help them achieve success in their personal and professional lives.This role provides practical support, problem-solving and guides/coaches a caseload to enable participants to achieve their personal and qualified goals.Based in Belconnen.DutiesMentor and support parents in individual sessionsRun events locally to attract participantsAssess participants needs and identify activities to support goalsLead group sessions in the communityConnect participants with community resources and support networks to overcome challengesMaintain accurate case management recordsWhat are we looking for?Lived experience (as a parent, carer, foster parent, grandparent etc)Cert III in a relevant field (community services, mental health, employment services) or willingness to work towards oneA current driver's licence, required to travel within the Capital region and outlying areas - Work vehicle suppliedAbility to problem solve and break larger targets into smaller, achievable stepsIf you're passionate about supporting parents and carers, submit your resume and a cover letter addressing the above points.BenefitsAt Sureway, we believe in offering more than just a job.
