VR GP with a Special Interest | Mount Hutton, NSW | Lake Macquarie

Skin cancer

- Mental health

- 15 minutes to Newcastle

Most practices will let you have a special interest. Few will build the day around it.

Mount Hutton Doctors is looking for VR GPs who want to do more of the work they trained extra for — with the books, rooms and referral flow configured to make that viable, not something you squeeze between standard consults.

Skin

- Treatment room

- Blocked procedure lists — excisions aren't crammed between 15-minute appointments

- Internal referrals from our other GPs

Mental health

- Longer consults built into your schedule as standard, not an exception you defend

- Shared care

- Patients who need continuity, and a practice that won't push you to turn them over faster

Other interests welcome — women's health, chronic disease, procedural. Tell us what you'd want to build.

What you'll earn

- 70% of billings with an hourly guarantee for 3 months — procedural and longer-consult work bills well, and you keep the upside of your own expertise

- No lock in

Mount Hutton

- 15 minutes to Newcastle CBD, 90 minutes to Sydney

- Lake on one side, Redhead and Blacksmiths beaches on the other

- John Hunter Hospital within reach

- Newcastle lifestyle without Sydney housing

You'll need

- FRACGP or FACRRM, specialist registration with AHPRA

- Medicare provider number eligibility

- Additional qualifications welcome, not essential
