Integrated Children’s Community Nursing Team Matron

The post holder will provide clinical leadership and be accountable for the management, delivery, and development of the Integrated Childrens Community Nursing Team, which provides nursing care in the community to children with acute/short term illness, those with complex health needs and disabilities, or with long term conditions, as well as those with life limiting conditions who may require end of life care. Develop the service to, as a minimum, meet pertinent qualified and national standards, including those concerned with workforce development and planning. Lead on the development of the virtual ward and linked workstreams. This involves liaison with Innovation and external stakeholders, Assume overall responsibility for the quality of the service, as experienced by children, their families and by colleagues.
