Coastal Group Engineering is seeking a motivated Trade Assistant to join our Fabrication workshop in Warnervale.

Coastal Group Engineering provides heavy vehicle and industrial engineering services, from design and 3D CAD modelling through to fabrication, repairs, truck body builds and trailer modifications.
Our experienced team provides practical, compliant and durable solutions designed to perform in demanding operating environments.
Based in Warnervale on the Central Coast, we combine engineering expertise with quality fabrication and precision workmanship to deliver projects from concept and design through to fabrication and completion.
About the role
Assist tradesman with heavy fabrication, assembly and general workshop duties.
Prepare materials, tools and equipment for upcoming jobs.
Read measurements and follow drawings and designs.
Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop.
Follow instructions and workplace safety procedures at all times.
About you
Comfortable with practical, hands-on work.
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Able to follow instructions and work well within a team
A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
Confidence using hand and power tools- essential
Previous workshop or manufacturing experience highly regarded
Australian Drivers Licence (essential)
Forklift licence desirable, or willingness to obtain (company funded)
