An exciting chance is available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established business within the building and construction industry. Based South of the River, this is a great opportunity to join a growing finance team in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Working closely with the wider finance team, you will take ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

The Role

- Manage end-to-end accounts payable processing, including high-volume invoice entry and processing.
- Match supplier invoices against work orders and purchase documentation, ensuring all relevant approvals are obtained.
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs in line with agreed deadlines.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Respond to supplier queries and liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records within the finance system.
- Assist with month-end processes and provide general support to the wider finance team.

About You





- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar transactional finance position.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end accounts payable processes.
- Confident managing high-volume invoice processing while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive supplier relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
