Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will lead day to day warehouse operations, with three direct report Team Leaders and approximately 30 indirect Team Members. Managing the needs of multiple clients in a quick paced environment, you will balance service delivery, productivity, people leadership and commercial performance. You will spend 75% of your time on the warehouse floor, with the other 25% planning, managing people and developing relationships with customers. This role is based in Derrimut.

Key responsibilities

- Lead daily warehouse operations, including rostering, labour allocation, order release and workflow priorities.
- Ensure that all processes, policies and procedures are implemented and maintained.
- Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders and their teams, setting clear expectations and driving accountability.
- Monitor warehouse productivity, KPIs, labour utilisation and contribution margins; identify and implement improvements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, stock security and the timely processing of returns.
- Build solid relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, resolving service and stock issues proactively.
- Oversee freight and courier bookings, manifests,



operational records and reporting.
- Maintain warehouse presentation, equipment, safety and compliance standards.

- Demonstrated warehouse management experience within a 3PL or logistics environment.
- A proven ability to lead and develop teams, including other leaders.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with an understanding of productivity, labour costs and contribution margins.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, solutions focused approach and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
- A hands on leadership style and a passion for logistics as a long term career.
