Key Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced PMO Analyst to support program governance, reporting, performance tracking and delivery oversight within a large-scale government technology modernisation program.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing accurate and timely visibility of overall program status, ensuring effective reporting processes, maintaining governance artefacts and supporting decision-making across multiple projects and workstreams.

The role will work closely with Program Directors, Project Managers, Workstream Leads and senior stakeholders to improve delivery transparency, governance effectiveness and reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and maintain program-level reporting, governance documentation and project status updates.
- Consolidate project and workstream information to provide an accurate view of overall program performance.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, progress and key performance indicators.
- Monitor and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies).
- Prepare regular program status reports, dashboards, management reports and executive summaries.
- Support preparation of materials for Program Steering Committees and governance forums.
- Track actions, decisions,



escalations and corrective actions across the program.
- Monitor project financials, budgets, resource utilisation and delivery performance in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Maintain program plans, registers, reporting templates and governance artefacts.
- Identify reporting gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities to improve PMO processes.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to improve program visibility.
- Support project managers and workstream leads in maintaining consistent reporting standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, governance frameworks and PMO practices.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and transfer of PMO processes and reporting practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a PMO Analyst, Project Analyst or Program Analyst within complex programs.
- Strong experience in program governance, project reporting and delivery oversight.
- Experience consolidating information across multiple projects and workstreams.
- Strong understanding of project management lifecycle, governance frameworks and reporting processes.
- Hands-on experience with RAID management, milestone tracking and action registers.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience developing dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI or similar platforms.
- Robust analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project information and present meaningful insights.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Experience

- Experience supporting large-scale government or enterprise transformation programs.
- Experience working within a centralised Program Management Office.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Experience with project management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Exposure to financial tracking, resource planning and program-level governance.
