About the Role

As Project Manager, you’ll lead projects from planning through to delivery, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and the wider Athena Blue team.

You’ll manage programmes, budgets, risks and project requirements while keeping stakeholders aligned and projects moving. The role suits someone who is comfortable making decisions, communicating clearly and navigating the challenges of complex project delivery.

The position is based in our Millers Point office. As we work with clients across Australia and internationally, domestic and international travel may occasionally be required.

Responsibilities

- Lead projects from planning through to completion.
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and deliverables.
- Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues and changes.
- Maintain clear communication and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure project outcomes meet agreed scope, quality, programme and budget requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and ways of working.

About You

You’re an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with clients and project teams. You’re organised, commercially aware and able to balance the detail of project delivery with the bigger picture.

You’ll also bring





- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Architecture, Construction or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years’ practical project management experience.
- Experience in commercial fit-out or hotel projects is highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills.
- Sound judgement and confidence working independently and taking initiative.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Experience using Microsoft Project and other relevant project management tools.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
