Regulatory Solution Architect

About the role

Zentact Systems is looking for a Regulatory Solution Architect to lead the assessment and design of technology solutions for regulatory, risk and compliance initiatives across its Australian and New Zealand operations. You’ll create fit-for-purpose solutions and clear architecture artefacts, aligned to the bank’s architecture principles, technology standards and strategic direction.

What you’ll do

- Provide architecture and technical design for regulatory, risk and compliance programs
- Design complex, strategically important solutions, including data platforms and reporting
- Produce clear architecture artefacts and present solution options to stakeholders
- Write proposals and business cases, and initiate and finalise Project Start Architecture documents
- Coordinate IT and Risk teams to deliver approved initiatives in line with strategic architecture
- Track delivery status,



issues and risks under governance frameworks
- Peer-review architecture and technical design artefacts
- Protect software quality and minimise technical debt
- Keep up to date with AU and NZ regulatory requirements
- Coach peers and contribute to cross-team communities and better ways of working
- Work with teams across Australia and New Zealand

What you’ll bring

- Strong awareness of AU and NZ regulatory developments, including Banking Prudential Standards
- Solution architecture experience, including data platforms and reporting
- Understanding of TOGAF and the SDLC
- Ability to work in an agile squad and engage everyone from end users to suppliers
- Strong communication, stakeholder and mediation skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable: TOGAF certification; Lean or Agile qualifications
