The Team The firm's Restructuring and Insolvency team is regarded by the market as a top tier offering. It acts for secured and unsecured creditors, liquidators, voluntary administrators and receivers in Australia and overseas on corporate workouts, reconstructions and corporate insolvency, and is sought after for high profile insolvency administrations.

The Role

Joining the Sydney team at Senior Associate or Special Counsel level, you will play a key part on high profile, complex advisory and corporate insolvency matters,



as well as insolvency related litigation. Clients include insolvency practitioners, ASX listed corporations, investment banks, private equity and funders.

The role combines

- Hands on matter management on high calibre matters
- Strategic input alongside the partners
- Training and mentoring junior lawyers

Requirements

- 7+ years experience in restructuring and insolvency, gained in private practice
- Experience mentoring and training junior lawyers
- Commercial, client focused advice
- Works well under pressure, meets deadlines and works well in a team
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, internally and with clients
- A collaborative, positive approach
