Regional Queensland | Renewable Energy Construction

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a subcontractor delivering a large-scale Solar/BESS project in regional Queensland.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day site operations, leading supervisors and coordinating multiple work fronts to ensure construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

With approximately 12-18 months of work on the current project, there is also potential for ongoing opportunities across future projects.

The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee site operations, manage supervisors and coordinate construction activities across multiple work fronts.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
- Overseeing supervisors and coordinating site personnel.
- Coordinating drilling, piling, backfilling, mechanical and module installation activities.
- Monitoring production targets, project timelines and daily progress.
- Reviewing and approving workforce and site resourcing plans.
- Ensuring compliance with project HSE, Construction and Quality Management Plans.
- Conducting pre-starts,



supporting toolbox talks and participating in production meetings.
- Overseeing plant, equipment, site facilities and general housekeeping.
- Conducting site inspections and monitoring quality objectives.
- Working closely with HSE Advisors on safety management, hazard assessments and incident reporting.
- Reviewing production reports, KPIs and project performance.

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor within construction.
- Experience working on large-scale solar, BESS, piling or civil construction projects.
- Strong experience coordinating multiple work fronts and subcontractors.
- Proven ability to lead site teams and manage supervisors.
- A solid understanding of construction safety and quality requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction and design drawings.
- Strong planning, organisational and communication skills.
- A hands-on approach to site leadership and project delivery.
