Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Safely operate waste collection vehicles across commercial and residential sites
- Collect, transport, and deliver waste to approved disposal and recycling facilities
- Perform light lifting tasks as required for daily operations
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate operational records
- Comply with all road rules, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
- Provide professional, reliable, and courteous service to customers
What We’re Looking For
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence
- Minimum 6 months’ HR driving experience
- Solid knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
- A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
