Qualifications & Experience:

- A minimum of 1 to 3 years of previous experience in a similar role and in a busy restaurant
- Trade qualifications with Associate Degree, Diploma or

Higher qualification in Commercial Cookery a must

- Intermediate to advanced communication skills
- Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
- Excellent organizational skills




- Understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP
- Skills and experience in both Indian and up-to-date Australian cuisines are essential.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Help Planning menu preparation & ensure adequate supplies are available for expected service
- Follow the instructions given by chef
- Maintain excellent presentation standards for all food, whilst maintaining recipe standards
- Regulating and monitoring temperatures of all the equipment's used in kitchen like grills, fridges, ovens and freezers
- Prepare and cook food and seasoning of the food to ensure high quality
- Ensure correct portioning of the food items during serving of food .
- Train the kitchen hands and apprentice in the kitchen.
- Keep all working areas clean, tidy and ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned to OHS standards
