A bit about the role?

We are seeking Exercise Scientists or Exercise Physiologist's to join our first Adelaide clinic in a professional occupational health setting. This position offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no evening, weekend, providing an optimal work-life balance for nursing professionals.

Unlike acute care environments, this role focuses on health assessments and occupational medicine within a collaborative, clinical setting. Our exercise scientist's and phsyiologist's work as integral members of a multidisciplinary team, conducting pre-employment and health surveillance assessments that directly contribute to workplace safety across major Australian industries.

Responsibilities:





You'll work alongside our supportive and experienced team of Doctors, Nurses, Allied Health and Administration staff to:

- Conduct Musculoskeletal, Fitness Assessments, Functional Capacity Evaluations

- Undertake pre-employment medical screening components such as height, weight and blood pressure

- Audiometry, Spirometry, ECG, Drug and Alcohol Screening

- Assist with general administration duties.

- Ensure an exceptional level of client-centered care, guaranteeing a quality experience at our clinics.

- Strong problem-solving, organisational and time management skills

- Teamwork, approachability, and excellent interpersonal abilities.

- Experience working with people from a range of backgrounds.

Required experience and qualifications:

- Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science / Master of Exercise Physiology or equivalent

- Accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA)

- Senior First Aid or equivalent

- Experience or knowledge in the medical/occupational health field desirable
