The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum GP VMO with Emergency Department experience to provide ED afternoon shift cover at a regional health service in Western NSW.
This role suits a GP VMO who is confident managing Emergency Department presentations, supporting inpatient care and leading clinical review, rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest care.
Afternoon shifts are paid at $2,200 per day, with travel, hire car and accommodation organised.

Clinical Workplace
- Regional Emergency Department setting in Western NSW
- Afternoon shift cover with inpatient and ED responsibilities
- Face-to-face clinical handover with the day doctor
- Supportive rural hospital environment with escalation pathways available

Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration
- Recent Emergency Department experience as a GP VMO
- Confidence leading rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest care
- Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
