Key responsibilities
- Welding and fabricating structural steel to drawings and specifications
- Measuring, cutting, preparing and assembling steel components
- Checking your work for accuracy, weld quality and finish
- Working with the team to meet production deadlines safely
- Keeping your work area and equipment organised and ready to go
About you
- Proven welding and fabrication experience, with a strong focus on quality
- The ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Energy, initiative and the ability to work independently
- A reliable approach — you turn up, take ownership and follow through
- A positive attitude and willingness to help your teammates
- A strong commitment to safe work practices
- A relevant trade qualification and structural steel experience will be highly regarded
