Laser Wizard Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in sheet metal and drafting to join our team in St Marys, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for a range of mechanical engineering projects and services. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will play an key role in supporting the company’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reviewing project requirements, specifications, and drawings to prepare comprehensive cost estimates

- Conducting materials and labour cost analyses to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

- Collaborating with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to refine estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all estimating activities.





- Providing support and guidance to the wider Engineering team on pricing and costing matters.

- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Skills & Experience required:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.

- Computer literacy and proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD is essential.

- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes and the sheet metal industry

- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal abilities.

- Relevant qualifications in drafting, Engineering design, or a related field is preferred.

- Experience in ERP systems.
