Find your role

IGA Store Manager - Upwards of $100,00 + Super

Lead the store, team and overall business performance.

Take ownership of our supermarket operations, balancing a welcoming shopping experience with solid commercial results. You’ll lead from the shop floor, develop your team and keep the store running smoothly.





- Oversee daily store operations, presentation and customer service
- Manage budgets, profit and loss reporting, stock control and costs
- Lead recruitment, rostering, onboarding, training and performance reviews
- Oversee ordering, payroll, reconciliations and cash handling
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness and workplace safety standards

IGA Grocery Manager

Be our second in charge and lead the grocery department.

Work alongside the Store Manager to oversee our busy supermarket and bottle shop. You’ll manage grocery stock, presentation and team performance, stepping up to oversee more than 20 employees when the Store Manager is absent.

- Support the day-to-day operation of the supermarket and bottle shop
- Monitor grocery inventory, purchase stock and manage wastage
- Implement sales targets and maintain merchandising standards
- Ensure correct ticketing and price match compliance
- Assist with recruitment, training and team development

IGA Deli Manager

Take ownership of our deli department, from food safety to customer service.

Lead the deli team to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service and fresh, well-presented products. You’ll oversee daily department operations, keeping displays stocked, food handling standards high and your team supported.

- Create attractive, well-stocked deli displays
- Manage ordering, stock rotation and inventory levels
- Support the Store Manager across broader supermarket operations as needed

What you’ll bring

You’re a hands-on leader with supermarket or food retail experience, strong customer service skills and a focus on developing your team.

Depending on the role, you’ll also need:

- Store Manager: At least three years’ experience as a Grocery Store Manager or in a similar role within a high-volume supermarket, strong financial and operational skills, and Food Safety Supervisor certification.
- Grocery Manager: At least three years’ management experience, essential high-volume corporate supermarket experience, knowledge of POS and ticketing systems, a valid driver’s licence, forklift licence and Queensland RSA.
- Deli Manager: Proven delicatessen and food retail experience, Food Safety Supervisor certification and a current Australian driver’s licence.
