A-Grade Electrician, Margaret River

$50 to $60 an hour base, plus allowances for your tickets. A work vehicle you take home, and an RDO every fortnight that stays in the roster even when we're flat out. You're home every night, with time left over for a surf or the family.

We're Integrated Electrical. Locally owned, based in Margaret River, about 30 of us. We need A-Grade sparkies who are positive at what they do and want a bit more variety than they're getting now.

The work

Across a normal month you could be on:

- Solar, battery and EV charger installs
- Underground power and Western Power network jobs
- High-end homes and commercial builds
- Air con, comms and maintenance for local clients

If you've been doing the same fitouts or maintenance call-outs for years, you'll notice the change pretty quickly.

What you get

- $50 to $60 an hour base rate, depending on experience
- On top of that, allowances for the tickets and quals you hold. Pick up new ones with us and your pay goes up with them.
- A take-home vehicle
- A rostered RDO every fortnight
- Your tickets paid for: SAA solar and battery, HR, EWP, open cabling
- No FIFO and no camp

Life outside work

Most of us live down here because of what's outside work. The job should fit around that.

You knock off and you're home. Every second week you get an extra day off, so you can chase a swell at Prev, take the kids away for a few days, or finally get on top of things around the house.



Getting to work takes minutes, so there's still daylight when you finish. And you won't be missing birthdays because of a FIFO roster.

We've also got a gym membership for everyone, plus a sauna and ice bath at the yard for the end of a long week.

Room to step up

We're picking up more civil, Western Power and commercial project work, so there'll be Leading Hand and Supervisor roles coming. We'd rather fill those from our own crew. If that's something you want, say so when you apply.

What you'll need

- A current WA A-Grade licence
- A C-class licence and White Card
- Pride in your work: tidy boards, a tidy ute, no callbacks
- To be someone the rest of the crew is happy to work with

Nice to have: SAA accreditation, open cabling, HR, EWP, split system, working at heights, first aid or LV rescue, and a police clearance. If you're missing some of these, apply anyway. We'll put you through them, and the allowances mean it shows up in your pay.
