We are seeking a Systems and Assurance Lead to join our team at the Curragh Complex.

This role will provide support across statutory compliance, assurance and governance activities, helping ensure accurate reporting, effective record management and the integrity of our safety systems.

- What You’ll Do

We're looking for an experienced Systems & Assurance Lead to help strengthen the governance, compliance and effectiveness of our HSET management systems across the Curragh operation.

With the flexibility to be based either at our Brisbane corporate office or onsite at Curragh Mine in Blackwater, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with operational leaders while contributing to the ongoing improvement of our safety systems and processes.

This is a role where you'll do more than maintain compliance. You'll help shape how our systems operate, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure our governance and assurance frameworks are practical, effective and aligned with operational needs.

Working closely with the Manager HSET and key stakeholders, you'll provide advice, challenge existing processes where needed and help drive meaningful improvements across the operation.

Your role will include:

- Leading governance and assurance frameworks for key HSET management systems
- Ensuring systems and processes align with legislative, corporate and operational requirements
- Providing advice to HSET and operational leaders on risk, compliance and assurance
- Overseeing Contractor Management Standards and associated governance requirements
- Monitoring assurance activities, corrective actions and their ongoing effectiveness
- Identifying gaps, managing risks and driving continuous improvement




- Working with stakeholders to strengthen accountability and ownership of HSET systems

What You’ll Bring

We're looking for someone who brings strong HSET systems and assurance experience, enjoys working with people and can balance compliance requirements with the realities of a busy mining operation.

You'll ideally have:

- Experience in HSET, assurance, governance, compliance or risk within mining or heavy industry
- Experience in a leadership, supervisory or senior specialist role
- Strong understanding of HSET management systems, legislative requirements and assurance frameworks
- Experience with contractor management and site access systems
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence operational leaders
- Experience with systems such as Damstra, FPe, ChemAlert and Power BI
- Familiarity with SAP or SuccessFactors would be an advantage
