- 10:00PM | $44.60 P/H Altona North Location Transcend are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our high profiled client. This role involves operating a Gas Forklift as well as performing manual handling duties. The successful candidate will be comfortable working both on and off the forklift in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Operate a Gas Forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks with steel products (4-6 metre lengths).
- Bundle and stage materials for dispatch or storage.
- Move, stack, and organise stock within the warehouse or yard.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift.
- Ensure all loads are secured and handled in accordance with safety. standards.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues. Criteria
- Full Australian Work Rights.
- Valid High Risk Forklift License (LF).
- Experience operating a Gas Forklift (Essential).
- Ability to handle long-length steel products safely (Highly Regarded).
- Willingness to perform manual labour and work off the forklift as required.
- Robust attention to safety and detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
