Assistant Kitchen Manager – Parramatta

- $70K–$75K + super, full-time

Omni Recruit is working with a Parramatta wing restaurant running one of Church Street's busiest kitchens, serving 14 house-made wing flavours, tenders and loaded sides to a packed house. We need an Assistant Kitchen Manager to back the Head Chef, lead the team and keep the numbers in check.

What you'll be doing

- Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, and leading it when they're off

- Driving consistency, speed and quality across every service

- Managing ordering, stocktakes, supplier relationships, wastage and food cost

- Building rosters and keeping labour on budget

- Owning food safety, cleaning schedules, WHS and compliance records

- Recruiting,



training and developing cooks and kitchen hands

- Bringing ideas to improve systems and efficiency

What you'll bring

- Experience as a sous chef, kitchen supervisor or junior kitchen manager in a high-volume venue

- Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience)

- NSW Food Safety Supervisor certificate

- Solid understanding of food cost, ordering and rostering

- Strong leadership that keeps a team calm and focused under pressure

- Full Australian work rights
