The Role in a Nutshell

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Real Estate Trust Accountant to join a well-established and highly regarded real estate group based in West Leederville.

This is a 12-month maternity leave contract , offering a salary of $90,000 + super (pro rata for part-time), flexible working hours and one day working from home.

Whether you're looking for full-time hours or something that works around school commitments, our client is happy to consider the right arrangement. The only requirement is availability across five days per week to ensure daily trust accounting obligations are met.

You'll be joining an established team and working alongside an experienced Trust Accountant who will provide support and a thorough handover.

What You'll Be Doing

- Managing sales trust accounting and Vendor Paid Advertising (VPA) accounts
- Processing deposits,



settlements and disbursements
- Completing daily trust account reconciliations
- Managing trust receipts, payments and associated transactions
- Maintaining accurate trust accounting records and ensuring compliance
- Liaising with sales agents, administration and finance teams
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the sales trust accounts

Who We're Looking For

- Previous real estate trust accounting experience is essential
- Experience with sales trust accounts and VPA highly regarded
- Strong understanding of trust accounting compliance and reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident managing deadlines and working independently
- A proactive, reliable and professional approach
- Someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team
