About This Opportunity

Gough Recruitment is building a talent pool of Senior Contract Administrators for upcoming roles with Perth builders and contractors across commercial, residential and fit-out construction. When a role comes up that fits, you’ll be the first person we call.

The Position

You’ll lead the commercial side of a portfolio of projects, from head contract through to final account. You’ll guide project teams on contractual risk and mentor junior CAs along the way.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and negotiate head contracts and subcontract terms
- Lead procurement strategy and let major trade packages
- Own project cost plans, forecasts and cost-to-complete reporting
- Manage claims, variations, EOTs and disputes
- Protect margin and cash flow across a portfolio of projects
- Advise PMs and management on contractual and commercial risk
- Mentor and support junior CAs




- Close out final accounts and drive continuous improvement in commercial processes

The Criteria

You’ll bring:

- 6+ years as a Contract Administrator or Quantity Surveyor on the builder’s side, including senior responsibility
- A degree or diploma in construction management, quantity surveying or a related field
- Expert knowledge of Australian Standard contracts, contract law and WA legislation
- A track record of managing variations, claims and disputes to positive commercial outcomes
- Strong experience with construction project management software and reporting tools
- Confident negotiation and leadership skills
- A current driver’s licence and White Card
- Full Australian working rights
