The Australian Treasury offers a paid internship program for currently enrolled university students, providing real-world policy experience while you complete your studies. Internships may be flexibly scheduled and could transition to non-ongoing roles after your studies.

You will work on challenging policy research, analysis and modelling that shapes the Australian economic landscape, with an emphasis on practical skills and stakeholder engagement. The casual hourly rate is $40 per hour.
