Experienced Registered Nurse at Chinchilla Hospital

Chinchilla Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a short-term contract from 20th January to 2nd February 2025. This is an exciting chance to work in a supportive environment while making a positive impact on patient care in a rural setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across various departments.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform triage and prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff during night shifts, taking charge of the unit as required.
- Execute advanced nursing procedures, including cannulation and venepuncture.




- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.

Key Requirements:

- Flexibility to work across all shifts, including taking charge as RN on night shifts.
- Competence in triage and Advanced Life Support (ALS).
- Proficiency in cannulation and venepuncture.
- Previous experience in rural or remote healthcare settings.
