Wirra Wirra Vineyards

McLaren Vale

Established in 1894, Wirra Wirra is a family-owned wine business with a portfolio spanning three distinctive wine brands: Wirra Wirra in McLaren Vale, and Ashton Hills and Hahndorf Hill in the Adelaide Hills. Together, these brands produce a diverse range of wines that reflect the character of their respective regions, with a reputation for quality, craftsmanship and regional expression.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced supply chain and logistics coordinator to take ownership of domestic and export orders, stock accuracy, packaging, rework and export compliance across our three wine brands. Working directly with customers, warehouses, freight providers, bottlers and suppliers, you will get orders delivered, resolve stock discrepancies and see rework through to completion. You will monitor changes to export regulations and market requirements, ensuring labels, specifications and documentation meet those requirements and support ongoing market access.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will organise priorities, make routine operational decisions within your authority and follow issues through to resolution. You will bring established experience in running this work independently, then learn our plans and systems so you can provide reliable operational cover during the manager’s leave.

The role offers broad responsibility, practical involvement in bottling, packaging and logistics, and scope to improve processes and see the results of your work.

Key Responsibilities

- Run domestic and export orders from receipt to the agreed delivery point. Confirm stock and approved allocations, book freight, track shipments and meet packing,

labelling and temperature-control requirements.
- Prepare export and customs documentation, obtain Wine Australia and other market approvals, and resolve customs issues with brokers and authorities.
- Manage export compliance, ensuring labels, specifications and documentation meet market requirements, while keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory changes to support ongoing market access.
- Take relabeling, repacking and other rework through to verified completion against approved requirements. Organise materials and providers, help practically where needed, reconcile stock and costs, and confirm product is ready to ship.
- Coordinate label development, approvals and packaging compliance. Keep SKU and product data, specifications, technical sheets and export customer portals current. Attend press checks and bottlings to verify specifications and provide practical support.
- Monitor stock across internal and contract warehouses and Cellar Door. Maintain accurate inventory, commitments and allocations in Cin7/DEAR, undertake stock checks and audits, and resolve discrepancies.
- Work with Finance on month-end processing, stock reconciliations and invoicing accuracy.

Maintain shipment and freight-cost records and support the Supply Chain Manager with freight reporting.
- Provide customers and colleagues with timely, accurate stock and shipment updates. Identify risks early, recommend action, resolve delivery problems and keep shared workflows, procedures and handovers current.
- Dispatch export samples and manage international tender submissions and wine show entries, ensuring complete documentation and deadlines are met.
- Provide operational leave cover for the Supply Chain Manager, keeping agreed bottling plans, routine purchasing, supplier commitments and operational reporting on track within delegated authority.

What we are looking for

- Typically 3-5 years' relevant experience in wine or FMCG, including personal responsibility for domestic and export orders.
- Practical experience completing packaging or rework jobs, with an understanding of how production schedules, packaging availability, purchasing and freight fit together.
- Robust inventory reconciliation skills, experience using Cin7/DEAR and confidence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Sound knowledge of export documentation and customs requirements, including wine export regulations and product compliance. Wine industry experience and Wine Australia processes will be highly regarded.
- A track record of organising priorities, communicating clearly and delivering agreed outcomes independently, with the judgement to resolve routine issues and escalation exceptions.

Must have the right to work in Australia.

Applications close by Friday November 20th.
