Cyber Security Advisor

Infotrust is growing its Service Delivery capability and we’re looking for a senior customer-facing Cyber Security Advisor (CSA) to join the team.

The CSA is the trusted advisor for an assigned portfolio of Infotrust customers across both Cyber and Digital Resilience (managed technology) services and jointly owns each customer relationship with the account team. The role owns the customer-outcome layer: making sure customers receive what they have contracted, understand their cyber and technology risks, and have a transparent, prioritised roadmap that supports their business objectives.

As a CSA, you will translate service performance, risk and threat insight into practical, business-relevant recommendations. Engagement is scaled according to each customer's service tier, from quarterly business reviews, monthly governance and regular contact for our most strategic customers, through to focused oversight or an annual relationship review for smaller accounts.

The Role

The CSA works alongside the teams that deliver our services and capabilities: Cyber Security, spanning security operations, offensive security, governance and risk, incident response, data protection and identity; and Digital Resilience, our managed technology services that keep customers' IT environments, cloud and infrastructure secure, available and recoverable. The CSA brings the customer context, assurance and advice that connects these capabilities for each customer. This requires credible engagement at every level, from technical specialists through to C-suite executives.

CSA's also contribute directly to growth. By understanding each customer's objectives, risks and technology estate, you will identify and qualify opportunities, partner with Account Managers on proposals and larger renewals, and help Customer Engagement operate as a revenue-recoverable function.

Skills & Experience

We’re open to candidates coming from Technical Account Management, Service Delivery, Senior Engineering, Infrastructure Consulting or Solutions Architecture backgrounds with;

- Customer-facing advisory, technical account management or service delivery management experience within cyber security, managed services or IT consulting.
- Proven experience as a trusted advisor across a portfolio of customer relationships, working jointly with account teams, including executive-level governance and business reviews.
- Broad knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001:2022, NIST CSF, Essential Eight, CIS Controls) and exposure to compliance, regulatory and industry-specific security requirements.
- Sound understanding of IT service management practices (e.g., ITIL), including service levels, contracted commitments, service reporting and continual service improvement.

- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or CISM are desirable, as is service management certification such as ITIL Foundation.
- Identifying and managing risks, maintaining risk registers and building technology or cyber roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
- Broad technical exposure across cloud, infrastructure, networking or cyber security
- The ability to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong operational awareness and problem-solving capability
- A proactive, commercially aware and customer-centric mindset
