The Role

Your focus will be on following up outstanding school fees and working with families to establish practical payment arrangements.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Following up outstanding fees and negotiating payment arrangements
- Building relationships with families and handling sensitive payment conversations
- Liaising with debt recovery agents and solicitors where required
- Preparing debtor reports and updates for management
- Completing general ledger reconciliations and maintaining accurate account records
- Supporting bursary assessments and government funding reporting




- Assisting with broader accounts receivable duties and finance team requirements

Your Background

To be considered for this Accounts Receivable Officer opportunity, you will bring:

- Strong accounts receivable experience, particularly in credit control
- Experience collecting large individual balances
- Confident communication skills to negotiate payment obligations
- A friendly, diligent approach with the confidence to handle challenging conversations
- Confidence using Excel and computerised accounting systems
- Discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential financial information

Education industry experience will be highly regarded, although candidates from similar industries are encouraged to apply.
